During the month of April, come swim and help raise money to start the Diverse Ability Swim Lesson program which caters to anyone with special needs. Every lap you swim is a dollar donated the program!
Swimmers participating in The Act of Laps and donors will receive a t-shirt! T-shirt are also available for purchase for $12. All proceeds will go to the Diverse Ability Swim Lesson program.
It is a private swim lesson designed for children and adults who have disabilities and may not be able to partake in the regular Group Swim Lessons. We are planning on starting the Diverse Ability Swim Lesson program on May 1st. Lessons will be on Mondays and Wednesdays for two weeks. Each session will be 25 minutes.
Our goal is to raise $550 during The Act of Laps to help cover the first session of the Diverse Ability Swim Lesson for 10 children/adults. After the first session, it will be $30 for Tom A. Finch Community YMCA members and $55 for Non-Members to participate in the Diverse Ability Swim Lessons.
