NOVANT HEALTH BREAST CENTER MOBILE UNIT WILL BE AT THE TOM A. FINCH COMMUNITY YMCA TO PROVIDE MAMMOGRAMS TO WOMEN 40 YEARS AND OLDER.

Do I need an appointment?

An appointment is required. Please call Darlene Fitzgerald at 336-474-5244 to make an appointment. Appointments must be made by September 23, 2021.

Is this covered by insurance?

Screening mammograms are covered as preventive care under most insurance plans. For your convenience, Novant Health will file a claim with your provider on your behalf.

What if my last mammogram was not at a Novant Health facility?

You can still receive a mammogram at Novant Health's mobile mammography unit. Their team will contact your previous provider to obtain films from your most recent mammogram. Past results are necessary to ensure that no changes have occurred in your breast health.

What do I need to bring the day of my appointment?

Bring a picture ID, insurance card, and face covering.

Novant Health's Breast Center Mobile Unit has sate-of-the-art 3D digital mammography, an expert team of technologists, and on-site convenience with the luxury and privacy of a traditional imaging center.

Other Information:

Financial assistance maybe provided.
Must have a minimum of 20 ladies to participate.
All ladies must be 40 years of age to participate.
Some insurances may allow women 35-39 years of age to obtain a mammogram. Please check with your insurance representative prior to scheduling.
