Volunteers Needed for Water Safety Day!

If you haven’t heard yet, the Tom A. Finch Community YMCA is partnering with the Thomasville Parks and Recreation and Thomasville Fire Department’s Swift Water Rescue Team to offer Water Safety Day on May 22nd!

We need volunteers to help make this run as smooth as possible so we’re asking for your help! We need volunteers for the following areas:

Check in: 2-3 volunteers 9:45am-1:30pm
Station 1: 1-2 volunteers in the water with YMCA instructor 10:00am-1:30pm
Station 2: 1-2 volunteers in the water with YMCA instructor 10:15am-1:45pm
Station 3: 1-2 volunteers in the water with YMCA instructor 10:30am-2:00pm
Check out: 2-4 volunteers 10:30am-2:30pm
Concessions: 2 volunteers 10:30-2:45pm

Volunteers will need to attend a volunteer meeting on Thursday, May 13th at 6:00pm-6:30pm to get important information about the day’s events and review the Y’s Child Abuse Prevention policy.
