Youth Basketball

WINTER 2024/2025 SEASON

At the Y, our sports staff, coaches, and volunteers all share a singular vision of helping all youth reach their full potential in life. We leverage the excitement and passion around recreational and competitive programming to create a healthy outlet for children to gain new skills, develop a sense of team and connect with positive role models.

Leagues Available:

• Instructional League (Ages 4-5)
• Micro (Ages 6-8)
• Junior (Ages 9-11)
• Junior Pro (Ages 12-15)

All Leagues are Co-Ed!

Skills Trials: Saturday, December 7th

• 10:00-10:45am - Micro (Ages 6-8)
• 11:00-11:45am - Junior (Ages 9-11)
• 12:00pm-12:459m - Junior Pro (Ages 12-15)

Practices:

• Will tentatively begin the first week in December
• Coaches will call/text when rosters are ready, and sent out to them.

Want to be a coach?

We will have a coaches meeting on Monday, December 9th at 6:00pm to discuss practice times, practice dates, and teams.

Games: Beginning mid-January

• Instructional League will not have games.

Registration: September 30th - November 7th

• $50 - Tom A. Finch Community YMCA Members
• $85 - Non-Members

Late Registration: November 8th - 15th

• $75 - Tom A. Finch Community YMCA Members
• $110 - Non-Members
