GENERAL FUNCTION
Under the supervision of the Lead Teacher, the Kid's Club Staff will be responsible for delivering exemplary service to YMCA members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uphold attendance policies regarding attendance, punctuality and dependability.
- Abide by organizational personnel policies, including Code of Conduct.
- Develop a relationship with parents/guardians of the children in the program.
- Arrive for work prepared ahead of time for duties and responsibilities.
- Assume preparation and clean-up responsibilities on a daily basis.
- Understand that enthusiasm is contagious and active involvement with children to develop real relationships.
- Exhibit maturity and responsibility at all times -- safety of children is the main concern.
- Communicate with Lead Teacher/parents about concerns.
- Sanitizing room/toys on a monthly basis.
- Obtain CPR and First Air through YMCA.
- Care of all children and treat and discipline all children consistently.
- Obtain your own substitute when you are absent and notify Lead Teacher.
