The Child Care Front Desk Staff serves as the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors. Under the direction of the Director of Child Care, this role is responsible for welcoming families, managing check-in and check-out procedures, taking child care payments, registering children for programs, field trips, and special events, answering phones, reviewing voicemails, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily administrative needs. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and professional, with strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a child-centered environment.
Greet families, children, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Manage daily child check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring proper authorization
Answer and direct phone calls, voicemails, and inquiries in a timely and courteous way
Maintain accurate attendance, enrollment, and contact records
Support billing, tuition payments, and basic account inquiries as needed
Communicate messages between families, teachers, and administration
Monitor building access and follow center safety and security procedures
Assist with enrollment paperwork and onboarding of new families
Maintain confidentiality of child, family, and staff information
Organize front desk supplies and materials
Support administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
Respond appropriately to parent concerns and escalate issues to leadership when needed
Model professionalism and positive communication at all times

Must be 18 years of age
Must have earned a high school diploma or GED
Complete basic BSAC Training
Complete required hours of in-service training
Obtain CPR/First Aid Certifications
