GENERAL FUNCTION

Under the direction of the Director of Healthy Living, the Water Aerobics Instructor will be responsible for planning and directing our water fitness classes. These classes will utilize water resistance to provide a cardiovascular and strength training workout.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design and prepare class routines that meet all the necessary components and safe guidelines in accordance with current accepted practices of exercise physiology.
• Allow for pre/post class member engagement to build member relations.
• Start and end class on time.
• Maintain equipment and keep group exercise area clean.
• Awareness of all branch emergency procedures.
• Participate in continuing education training specific to individual goals and branch objectives.
