• Bring your bathing suit and a towel to every class (females need one-piece suits).

• If you attend all classes and fail the written and practical exams, you will not receive a refund.

• Attendance is required at every class for successful completion. A refund will not be issued if you do not attend every class. Late arrival is considered a missed class. See the instructor for any questions or concerns prior to registration.

• Please bring notebook paper, a pen and the lifeguarding book to every class.

• You are allowed to bring drinks, snacks, and dinner to class. You will need to bring your lunch with you for weekend (all day) classes.

• In the wake of COVID-19, all class participants will have their temperature checked prior to entering the facility. If you are experiencing any symptoms of sickness, please contact your instructor. With a doctor’s note, accommodations will be explored for make up classes.

• We will do our best to maintain social distancing while in this class. However, some skills will require lifeguard candidates to work in close proximity to each other in and out of the water. Masks are recommended while on deck and in the classroom but should not be worn in the water due to the safety hazard created by the wet face covering.
