Tom A. Finch Community YMCA

Active Adults

What are Active Adults?

Active Adults are members who's membership is paid for through their insurance company! There are three different types: Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, and Silver and Fit. These are programs that improves overall well-being, strength and social aspects. Designed for all levels and abilities, these programs are generally provided by your health plan at no additional cost. With these types of membership, members have access to fitness equipment, group exercise classes, social networking, online education, and a sense of community. If you are new to exercise, don’t worry, nearly half of our members had never been to a fitness location before joining with Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, or Silver and Fit!
